It’s week 3 for me here in The Lab and it is pretty stunning how much I have gotten to do in such a short time. So far I have learned some of the best ways to curate content and turn that content into meaningful messages to put on client’s various social media pages, as well as do it in a way that reflects the particular company’s brand and personality.
One of the most fun things that I’ve gotten to do so far has been getting to utilize my creative side and generate graphics! Although it has proven much more of a challenge than I once thought, since, as it turns out, not all the images on the internet are free for you to use as you wish (something they don’t really cover in class). Luckily I have some really great mentors here at Lab3 Marketing and I have gotten to learn all sorts of tips and tricks on how to find images that have been okayed for commercial use.
Another eye opener that I have gotten to be a part of here is the Monday traffic meetings, which serves at the nerve center of all the operations here at Lab3. Because there are so many moving parts involved in managing each and every client, it takes an incredible amount of planning and organization in order to make sure that all of the clients get the high quality service that Lab3 Marketing promises to deliver. What I like most about the meetings is that although they are very thorough they still find a little time to joke around and lighten the mood. All around I find it a very good environment to learn and to work.
