Hi world, my name is Christopher, a former U.S. Marine, and native of New Orleans, LA. I am currently finishing up my MBA degree at the University of Tampa. I first got interested in this internship, because I believed that I could learn a lot about marketing; there is only so much that can be learned in the classroom. I do not have a marketing background and thought that it would be a great chance to learn it by actually doing it. Ms. Demmi gave me the opportunity to get valuable real world experience in this field and I am grateful for that.
I am in my first week at the Lab and I have noticed two things about the people working there: that they are very knowledgeable and they also like to have fun. This was very comforting to me because I know I can learn a lot from everyone who works here and have already begun to. I have already learned about different marketing tools and different tactics. The main thing I have been doing is gathering content for clients.
I do not know if the work I am doing right now is beneficial in anyway, but I will try my best to get it up to par. I will get better at what I am doing and learn as much as possible. I believe this position will help me in my overall career.
