North East Tampa Women In Business fund raise all year for their annual scholarship to an outstanding deserving woman in business. The 2012 winning candidate was chosen for her community involvement and dedication to local business. Loran Tripp, of Latitude 27 Marketing, was honored to take home this year’s achievement.
N.E.T.W.I.B. has offered the deserving woman’s scholarship for 5 years; having many well-known local business women as recipients. Thru an online application process, nominations can be made by completing the virtual questionnaire. Star Ryan of Star’s Organic spa and Ghada Jadallah of Dash of Salt N Pepper were the winners in 2011 and Sydney Alexander of Basic Black Collection in the Shops at Wiregrass was 2009 winner.“As president of Northeast Tampa Women in Business, we are proud to have Loran Tripp as our Outstanding Woman in Business award winner,” says Kelly Mothershead, owner of A Focus On Fitness.
