What is your favorite marketing product, service or tool

This may be an obvious answer coming from a 25 year old, but I am a fan of social media marketing. I am most familiar with Facebook. From a business standpoint, this platform gives businesses a unique and personal way to communicate with its customers.

However, there is nothing like holding a beautifully designed pamphlet in your hands. There is much to be said about the tactile quality of printed media.

What is the one marketing rule you love to break?

I’ve never been much of a rule breaker. However, the more familiar I become with all the marketing rules, maybe I’ll find one to break.

What is your favorite food?

Ice cream! Does that count as a food?

What us something weird about you?

For much of my childhood, I grew up living at the boarding schools where my parents worked. We were housed in apartments built into the student’s dormitories, so I was often surrounded by all the “big high schoolers”. We often had our meals in the school cafeteria.

Also, sometimes on my days off from school, I would go into work with my mom and help her organize mail, do copy jobs and label large mailings. You could say I’m an organization nerd who loves snooping in the office supply closet.

What is the first website you look at every morning?

Facebook admittedly. My phone acts as my alarm, so it’s hard not to wake up and click on the little Facebook icon with the red number next to it.

Bio

I grew up in New England, moving to Miami, Florida in 2001. My family moved among several cities and even more apartments and houses. I have lived in Tampa now for four and a half straight years. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology. I love the subject, but missed the creativity involved with the art classes I had taken from 7th grade to early college. That’s when I decided to enroll at IADT to learn how to use my prior fine arts training in a practical setting. I graduated with an Associate’s in Graphic Design.
